My yoga journey began in Toronto, Canada in 2012 but my introduction to movement was when I at the age of 5 tried gymnastics.
After gymnastics I had a career as a dancer and a circus performer doing handbalance and aerial skills.
My education is a 300h Vinyasa Flow TT at AntwerpYoga in Antwerp, Belgium 2013-2014. After receiving my diploma I continued teaching at the studio until June 2016 when I moved back to Stockholm.
I tend to work with themes in my classes and I try to vary the asana/movement content to always create a challenge. Sometimes I use more traditional asanas, sometimes I work with elements from gymnastics/dance and functional mobility.
I often start lying down or seated, creating a connection to the floor and the breath.
Low and slow, to warm up the body, in order to allow the movement to grow and flow.
I encourage yogis to explore range of movement within the asanas. I also encourage to step back and listen inwards.
More importantly I wish for people to feel good in body, mind and spirit after every practice.
