Maja is, among other things, a physical therapist and a medical Yoga therapist. She has extensive experience in teaching and treatment within the concept of "mind-body" with a focus on stress-related conditions and mental health. Maja's background in the medical fields and her interest in people from a holistic approach have contributed to yoga becoming a natural part of her work with clients. Yoga has been a part of her life for the past 25 years.
Maja teaches Medical Yoga, Yin yoga, pregnancy yoga, mother-baby yoga and Mindfulness. In her classes, Maja helps the student land in themself, find inner peace and stability and gain access to more power and energy. She also offers one-to-one sessions. "Yoga is for me a fantastic system for increased awareness of oneself, of life and to achieve increased balance on all levels, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Meeting yourself on the mat, over and over again, is a constant exercise in listening, seeing new dimensions of yourself, accepting, letting go, moving on and making changes big and small. I am grateful to experience the self-healing power yoga has for development and the joy of being able to spread this knowledge.”
